Cosentino is one of Napa's most consistent Cabernet producers. The CE2V, a vineyard bottling, always shows vintage variation. Based on Cabernet Sauvignon, the '02 is a great success, immensely rich in concentrated cassis fruit, and totally dry. The tannins are extensive, but soft and complex in the modern style. This is a wine to drink now and over the next 15 years.
