There's a ripe, almost jammy quality to the bouquet of this Riserva Barbaresco that appears as raspberry or strawberry candy with subtle cola, leather and tar aromas at the back. The wine is tight and compact with the kind of firmness in the mouth that suggests it needs another five years of bottle aging.
