Made entirely from Sangiovese, this wine starts with an earthy fragrance of forest floor, woodland berries, toast and a smidgen of balsamic herbs. The one-dimensional, juicy palate delivers ripe black cherry, coffee and black pepper alongside brooding tannins. || Aromas of blackcurrant, spice, menthol, espresso and a whiff of toasted oak lead the nose.
