At first this wine is a touch skunky and strange, but they say time heals all wounds, and such is the case here. As it unfolds in the glass the wine offers sweet berry fruit and some wood notes. The finish is a little like beets and spice, but in that there's intrigue and appeal. Good tannins and acids ensure a proper mouthfeel.
