This estate wine comes from vines planted two decades ago and was named for John Drummond, who owned the land in the 1800s. With a touch of Cabernet Franc in the mix, it offers black licorice, buoyant acidity and a back beat of tannin that integrates well. Bark, dark plum and chocolate round out the full-bodied picture.
