This is a field blend of Kerner, Gewürztraminer and Rieslaner, what winemaker Markus Niggli calls a “Swiss blend.” It opens with a great fleshy nose of pear and almond, showing off a strong foundation of acidity. It's perfectly dry, with a hint of sea-like saltiness.It almost tastes like Vermentino, but the musky lychee note screams Gewürztraminer.
