Tight and a bit hot, this single-vineyard bottling from Masi shows sour-cherry, cranberry, chocolate and mint flavors along with some chalky mineral notes. It's quite youthful and restrained, with firm, even biting, tannins. It's nicely extracted and should show more in three to four years.
