Tarry, gritty, earthy aromas of tomato, herbs and cherry feed into a juicy, hard-driving, acidic palate. Flavors of boysenberry and tart currant finish peppery, with a hint of cocoa as well as modest heat and scour. This is racy and shows coastal brightness. Drink through 2017.
