Awkward, overripe and too sweet, a textbook wine that falls prey to Zin's traditional pitfalls. There are ripe berry flavors but they are out of balance with everything else. A syrupy, cough-mediciney texture frames it all. || One of the few varietal Malbecs in California, this wine is inky black in color, and very heavy and dense in the mouth.
