Leather, underbrush, baked plum, menthol and a whiff of cake spice are some of the aromas that lift out of the glass. The ripe palate delivers dried black cherry, fig, star anise, mocha, espresso and grilled sage while close-grained tannins provide the framework. Drink 2017–2022.
