Only a small proportion of barrel-aged wine goes into this blend, so the emphasis is on bright pear and melon fruit, backed by concentrated citrus flavors. It's lighter in weight and less richly textured than Clearview's Reserve or Endeavour bottlings, but is still a charming Chardonnay for drinking over the next couple of years.
