Scarnocchio is a savory, spicy Amarone with aromas of black pepper, cured meat, black fruit and soft leather. Wood-driven flavors of vanilla, cigar box and cinnamon appear on the wine's slight sweet finish. || Spiced plum, crushed blue flower, black currant and a whiff of warms spice waft out of the glass. The high-toned palate delivers ripe blackberry, date and dried cherry accented with notes of nutmeg, licorice and black pepper. Velvety tannins provide structure.
