This new version of Tildio's Profundo is 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, the rest Merlot, with a mix of sweet herb and grass, blueberry fruit, and streaks of iodine or licorice. After a big, fruity opening, it falls away in the middle and turns a little bit harsh and green in the finish.
