Firm and refined, this opens with aromas of wild berry, leather, game and a note of chopped herb. The round, full-bodied palate delivers ripe black cherry, clove, toast, mint and licorice alongside ripe, velvety tannins and fresh acidity. It should develop more complexity over the next decade.
