Blackberry pie stars in this soft, grippy estate wine, held in both French and American oak, only a third of it new. Integrated tannins provide an approachability, along with a strong suggestion of leather. || Too oaky, with dominating caramel and smoke flavors, and also very sharp. There's a citrusy bite of acidity that detracts.
