Lavender, thyme, rosemary and other green herb notes dot the nose, which leads to a solid, cushioned palate with sweet berry, leaf, spice and carob flavors. Finishes sweet, with melted chocolate and heft. Just short of excellent but still the best Carmenère yet from François Lurton's Colchagua property.
