Smooth and dark on the nose, this exudes a deep, earthy accent of lead pencil. The palate is firm, tannic and layered, with healthy doses of blackberry, cassis, black pepper and tobacco flavors. Like most top-level Maipo Cabernets, this shows herbal notes of olive and moss on the finish.
