The winery delayed the release of this block-designated Pinot later than its other 2008s, but even at four years old, it's still tight and acidic, a wine you really shouldn't open right now. Bone dry, it has a nice, balanced mouthfeel, with complex flavors of cherry, pomegranate, persimmon, tamari-splashed mushroom and oak. Hold at least until 2014.
