Lots of rich flavors of blackberry, black currant, bacon, pepper and clove in this Syrah, which comes from the winery's big vineyard on Spring Mountain. Feels luxurious in the mouth, with a silky texture and a deep, long finish. It's a bit brusque in tannins, but that's part of its structural distinction.
