Here's a textbook example of a warm vintage Russian River Pinot. It has the appellation's velvety richness and varietal typicity, while the heat made for perfect ripening. Brims with cherry jam, blueberry pie, orange marmalade, datenut bread and oaky flavors, all balanced with juicy acidity, and the finish is dry. At its best now–2008.
