The new oak on this Cab Franc is strong. So is the fruit, which suggests red cherries and blackberries so ripe the juice runs down your chin. But the wood and fruit haven't come together. They're slugging it out for supremecy. No reason to have to choose between them. Give it 6–8 years in a good cellar and let everything come together.
