Lightly herbal on the nose, but overall there's more ripe berry and toasty chocolate aromas than green. Full, meaty and deep for a value-priced wine, with blackberry and black plum flavors along with a pinch of oregano and basil. Shows good weight and balance throughout. Impressive for a 50,000-case product.
