One of the Steve and Chrystal Clifton's lively takes on this grape, this shows smashed black currants, boysenberry, gravel and dark spice on the nose. Allspice and cinnamon decorate the black-cherry core, which is not particular juicy or overly ripe, tightened up further by pencil shavings.
