Starts out showing red-fruit aromas of currant, plum and raspberry. The palate stays the course, offering raspberry and strawberry flavors. Shows plenty of ripeness, moderate tannins and some buttery, vanilla-based oak. Fresh but simple. Drink now. || Attractive mint, blackberry, leather and earth scents precede a chewy palate bulked up by thick plum and blackberry flavors. The mouthfeel is round and soft, although some tannin pokes through to spike it up. Finishes with vanilla, coffee and mocha.
