Ripe, loamy cherry and blackberry aromas are moderately complex. Racy on the palate courtesy of punchy, fresh acidity, this barrel-select Syrah tastes spicy and a touch charred, with a black-fruit base. Smooth on the finish, with mild residual oak, this is elegant as a whole. Drink through 2020.
