This is a serious red wine, from its opaque, inky color to the dark cherry, freshly turned dirt and crushed herb aromas. The extra-long finish is preceded by a smooth mouthfeel with expertly integrated tannins. However, the black fruits are not quite as dazzling on the palate as the scents are on the nose.
