A bit of burnt character clouds the grapy nose, but it's not a heavy, overoaked wine. In fact, the palate is a touch tangy, with zesty black cherry and a decent amount of protruding acidity. Rigid but solid, with full fruit flavors. Imported by Epic Wines. || Roasted and deep at first, which is encouraging. But it doesn't really stand the test, showing tart plum and berry flavors, out-of-place tannin and shortness on the palate.
