A fortified red wine blend of Cab Sauvignon, Cab Franc and Merlot, the alcohol is a Port-like 19.2%. This is dark and substantial, with allspice, clove and cinnamon infusing fig- and plum-flavored fruit. The residual sugar is 6% but the sweetness is not at all overpowering, thanks to the excellent spirit (no burn) and the dense tannins.
