Cab Franc is the main grape here, and it generates an even darker, more leafy and earthy companion to the winery's other Cab. The tannins are smoky and granular, with lots of coffee and stem flavors. But as always, the winemaking is excellent, the balance impeccable, and the grapes have been very carefully managed.
