Incongruous aromas of buttery oak, graphite and brandied cherry open this blend of 75% Tempranillo and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon. Following the bouquet, this feels thick and creamy, with grabby tannins and resiny stickiness. Overtly oaky flavors of vanilla, maple and chocolate are dominant, while this finishes with heat, heavy oak and stewed berry flavors.
