This wine is sanguine and elegant despite its full-figured size. Dried cranberry and cassis play on the palate, streaked by an elusive hit of white pepper. Bright and dancing in minerality, it finishes velvety and smooth, just the right amount of toasted oak showing through. || There's a beautiful wine in here, but it's buried under so much oak, it's hard to find.
