This is a finely made, easy to drink wine. It is soft, round, with spice and light tannins, a wine that would travel to parties, barbecues and pasta bakes. The acidity from the blackberry flavor keeps it fresh and fruity. || It seems quite right to call the grape Shiraz rather than Syrah in this blend, because the wine has a ripe, sweetly fruity style reminiscent of Australia. It is broad and full of black fruit, laced with acidity and finished with a warm edge of tannin.
