A new brand from the PlumpJack folks, and a very promising start. It brings Sancerre-like sophistication and polish to a variety that's usually not very elegant. With crisp acidity and a mineral backbone, the wine's flavors are of citrus fruits, figs and vanilla, with a hint of tart gooseberry. The winery is set to release a pair of Cabs in the next few years.
