You'll note the bubbles around the edges of the glass, some remaining CO2 that says “drink me, I'm fresh!” It puts a creamy edge on this fruitbowl of a Pinot Gris, with abundant green and yellow fruits and a slight impression of residual sugar. But what stands out are the flavors of ripe, juicy, just-picked pears. Credit winemaker Jesse Lange.
