Deep and dark smelling, this has aromas of Mission fig, black fruit compote and spiced pastry. It's a heavyweight effort with a dense texture, but the acidity saves it from feeling ponderous. An overripe flavor of sun-dried fruit dominates the flavor profile, concluding with a touch of Bourbon barrel on the medium-long finish.
