Round, ripe and quite pretty cherry fruit flavors, showing a hint of loam and a briny note. Tannins have smoothed out, and the length is better than average. Score could improve with further bottle age. || The Boushey cuvée—100% varietal—really delivers the goods. Cassis and blueberry, cherry and plum, high acidity and nuanced notes of toasted nuts, graphite and smoked meats are all in play.
