Olive and woodspice outmuscle vivid fruit aromas on the nose. The palate is a bit raw and drawing, but it's fresh. Spicy oak adds depth to racy plum and raspberry flavors, with heat stepping in on the finish. Overall this is a fresh, lively version of Carmenère.
