Standard red-berry, rubber and spice aromas are straightforward. This is active on the palate, with pinching tannins, snappy acidity and rawness. Tomato, dry oak, currant, red plum and dusty spice flavors finish with firm tannins and moderate heat and burn. || Lemony oak and solid but generic berry aromas flow onto a chunky, full palate with loamy berry, red plum, raisin, tomato and herbal flavors. For a basic Rioja, this is minty, herbal and entirely authentic on the finish.
