This 100% Cabernet was grown in a Calistoga vineyard. It was aged in 40% new oak. At the age of 3½ years, it's still quite tannic, even a bit rustic, with zippy acidity and fresh, jammy blackberry and black cherry flavors. Hard to say where it's going, but try aging it for 5–6 years and see what happens. || Shows a great return to form over the 2006, with the lush flavors and rich attractions of the 2005.
