The nose on this blend of Syrah, Cabernet, Merlot and Malbec is concentrated, with herbal hints of juniper along with brandied berry and cherry. This is firm and tannic, with deep, earthy flavors of licorice, mint and spiced black fruits. It's grabby and big throughout, with all the nutmeg, anise and wood spice the wine can take. || Ripe almost to the point of overdone, but then it draws itself back.
