Aromas emerge slowly on this appellation blend, but eventually crushed slate, red cranberry, dark strawberry and dried sagebrush scents arrive. The palate is heavy on crushed oregano and bay leaf, with boysenberry fruit, grippy plum-skin tannins and an asphalt character.
