Spunky and upright, with herbal red fruit on the nose and short, staccato flavors of rhubarb and pie cherry. Finishes tangy and hard, with a slight bitterness. || Probably this winery's best current release; the nose is forward, spicy, fruity and convincing. Follow that with bright cherry and berry flavors along with a finish that's got medium tannins in support of spice and coffee, and you have a well-priced winner. What affordable red wine was meant to be.
