This is a rich, ripe style of Coonawarra Shiraz, amply framed by toasty, cedary oak. The tannins are supple to the point of creaminess, the slightly stewed fruits graced with just a hint of mint. Best from 2010–2015, maybe a few years more. || Full bodied, dense and creamy in texture, this is an ultradark expression of Shiraz, with flavors ranging from asphalt to coffee and black olive to chocolate.
