This is a wine for long-term aging, rich, wood-aged and seriously dense. Firm tannins, dark berry fruits and layers of wood extract come from 12 months in barrel. It has spice, acidity and a sense of brooding power. Drink from 2017. || The quinta, on the south side of the Douro, has produced a firm, solid and structured wine. It has power, the tannins still dominating the juicy black fruits. With an earthy edge and still considerable acidity, this is a wine to age. Drink from 2016.
