Merlot leads the pack in this blend of six Bordeaux varieties with a dash of Syrah (5%). The fruit is taken from five different vineyards across Washington and Idaho. It has notes of candied cherry, licorice and ash, with tart flavors and dry, astringent tannins. || A sweaty note to start, then this turns into a plummy, tannic, astringent red with a hint of barrel toast.
