This opens hard and crusty, but with airing it softens as chocolate, plastic, creamy oak and spice aromas emerge. The palate is compact and fairly full bodied, with herbal, roasted, leathery tasting berry flavors that end with savory, oaky notes. Overall, this is a good blend of Cabernet and Carmenère.
