Very ripe, rich and rewarding. Perpetual is Torres' top wine from the Priorat, and it's a winner in 2006; it has polish, power and life. The nose is dark and alluring, while the palate hits comfortably with bold black cherry, cured meat, herb and tobacco flavors. Long and honest on the finish, with thrust. Good now thru 2013. Imported by Dreyfus, Ashby & Co. Editors' Choice.
