Interesting to taste Saintsbury's Reserve next to the regular Chardonnay. Both naturally share the same taste and textural characteristics, but this wine is oakier and softer in the mouth, especially in acidity. It lacks the crispness and zest of the regular. Seems a bit heavy and flat, although it's still a nice wine.
