This is an intriguing and unique wine with individual elements that are hard to pin down, but worthy of attention. The Portuguese varietal-led blend shows deep black plum, pencil lead, black cherry and cola on the slightly grapy nose. Cola, root beer and black cherry arise on the thick and chewy palate, which finishes slightly sour.
