Lots going on in this bone- dry Petite Sirah, with flavors of charred steak, blackberries, blueberries, dark unsweetened chocolate and black pepper. The tannins are dense and astringent. Seems a little too soft for the cellar, so drink this rustic wine now, with rich, saucy barbecue. || Here's a soft, high-alcohol effort with Petite Sirah's big tannins and plenty of ripe, briary blackberry and mocha flavors. It's a robust sipper whose sweet glycerine note will provide a good foil for grilled meats.
